- No accounts and no tracking cookies. We don’t use advertising trackers.
- Tools run in your browser. Your shortlist, checklist progress, notes and eulogy drafts are stored only on your device (in local storage) and never sent to us. You can clear them at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
- Location. If you use “Use my location”, your position is used in your browser to sort results and is not sent to us.
- Postcode searches are sent to postcodes.io, a free public service, to find the postcode’s coordinates.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
- Email. If you email us, we use your message only to reply and keep it no longer than necessary.
- External links (funeral directors’ websites, maps) have their own privacy policies.
