We want everyone to be able to use FuneralFinder, including people using screen readers, keyboards, magnifiers or slow connections.
- We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
- Pages work without JavaScript for reading and browsing; interactive tools need JavaScript.
- Text resizes up to 200%, colours meet contrast guidelines, and there is a dark mode.
- Every page has a “skip to content” link, logical headings and labelled form fields.
- Pages are small and fast, which helps on older phones and poor connections.
